Announcing the state’s COVID roadmap yesterday afternoon, Premier Stephen Marshall says South Australia will ease its border restrictions for double vaccinated people from November 23rd.

Premier Marshall says further restrictions will ease once 90 per cent of people over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated.

Chairperson of Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, Sharni-Marie Barney, says tourism operators have had a lot of uptake from the domestic market, but several people have struggled as the year has gone on.

"As far as adapting their business model, I think some [tourism operators] have done that to some extent, but at the end of the day they need people who have never been here before that want to experience all the amazing things we have to experience to be booking and paying for their tours," she said.

"It's been a hard year for them I think and I think they're all looking forward to that change."
