Colour Tumby Receives Government Funding Boost

The Colour Tumby Street Art project will be able to deliver an expanded program in 2022, with a boost from the Federal Government.


The event, which has been running annually since 2018, will receive $36,000 through round 13 of the Festivals Australia program.

In a statement, Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey said the funding will support local artists and communities reemerge from the pandemic and will provide a critical boost to the economy. 

He said the event ‘transformed Tumby Bay’ and was looking forward to seeing what works come out of the next event.

The Festivals Australia program supports art projects that invite community participation and audience engagement at festivals in remote and regional Australia.
