A popular Port Lincoln museum has shut due to the current COVID situation in the city.
In a statement, the Axel Stenross Maritime Museum has closed to the public to safeguard their volunteers from being in the public unnecessarily.
The museum says they will review the situation weekly and look forward to opening their doors again.
Last week, the Mill Cottage Museum closed its doors until the end of January at the earliest, under instruction from the City of Port Lincoln Council.
Other museums in the city, such as the Port Lincoln Railway Museum and the RSL Museum are still open.
