Eyre Peninsula Heads to the Polls

The majority of Eyre Peninsula residents will head to the polls tomorrow, as progress is being made on filling polling booth volunteer positions across the country.

More than 5000 additional people across Australia signed up to work on polling day in electorates of concern, including Grey, over the past 24 hours.

A quarter of Grey voters have already cast their ballot via postal votes or pre-polling, but the AEC has reported some local polling booths across the region were struggling to fill volunteer positions for tomorrow.

The commission will provide an updated areas of concern list later today.

Voting booths will be open tomorrow at Kirton Point Primary School and Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Port Lincoln, Cummins Community Hall, Cleve RSL Hall and the Franklin Harbour Institute in Cowell.
