COVID Cases Spike in Port Lincoln

The number of active COVID cases has spiked in Port Lincoln, as figures continue to rise across the state.


As of yesterday, the City of Port Lincoln local government area recorded 1,620 active cases, up 54 from Tuesday and a 270 per cent increase from the cities active case numbers just under a month ago. (26 May)

Across the region, the Tumby Bay LGA recorded 222 active cases, the Cleve region recorded 252 active cases, whilst the Lower Eyre Peninsula local government area recorded 642.

2,686 new active cases of COVID-19 were reported in the state yesterday, with boosters currently administered to 73 per cent of eligible South Australians.
