TAFE SA Chair To Visit Port Lincoln Today

TAFE Port Lincoln

TAFE SA’s Interim Chief Executive Alexandra Reid will be in Port Lincoln today.

Ms Reid will meet with local students, staff and industry stakeholders to provide an update on the current Australian Skills Quality Authority audit process.

The audit process has found that many TAFE delivered courses have failed to provide the appropriate training for the qualifications gained by students around the state.

Only one course delivered at the Port Lincoln TAFE campus has been caught up in the audit process which related to Aged Care.

Ms Reid said that two SA Government reviews are currently underway and TAFE SA is currently implementing a new quality framework aimed at fixing the issues that were brought to our attention.
