The Elliston community will celebrate the achievements of the award winning Elliston Coastal Trail with an official event planned for tomorrow.
The District Council of Elliston invites community members to attend the celebration to recognise the trails completion.
The 5 year 1.8 million tourism infrastructure project was managed by the Council in collaboration with community, government using local and specialised contractors.
Visitors and guest speakers confirmed for the open include Member for Flinders Peter Treloar, Shadow Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation Kyam Maher and Wirangu Elders Mrs. Veda Miller, Mr. Peter Miller and Mr. Neville Miller, Mrs. Della Sansbury.
The event will include a free community BBQ and will be held tomorrow from 12.30pm.
