Mental Health Week Events Continue On Lower EP

Local events to mark Mental Health week continue throughout the week across the Lower Eyre Peninsula. 

Today’s program will see an art therapy workshop in Port Lincoln for kids aged between 5 and 8 years of age. 

The session is the first of two planned for Mental Health week and will get underway at 9am. 

This morning will also see an event held at Sharky’s Bar in Port Lincoln where people can learn more about Emergency Services. 

The event will commence at 10am and is open to people of all ages. A kite making workshop will also be held this morning at Unity Hill in Port Lincoln. 

The workshop is aimed at people of all ages and families are encouraged to attend and work on their kites together. 

The session will commence at 11am and will run through until 2pm.

Tomorrow’s program will see an art program for local youth commence from 9.30am. 

Titled “Art for the Soul” the session is open to 10 to 17 year old youths and will be facilitated by West Coast Youth and Community support.
