This Sunday November 11th commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War.
One hundred years ago, on the 11th of November the guns of the Western Front, fell silent after four years of continuous warfare.
The Eyre Peninsula will be showing their respect with services to be held across the region.
The Port Lincoln Remembrance Day Service will be held at the War Memorial Eyre Park at 10.30am.
A BBQ Luncheon and Refreshments will follow at the Port Lincoln RSL.
Farm Beach will also see a special service at the newly erected war memorial at 10.30am.
Commemorations will be unveiled following the 11am service.
All members of the Public who plan to attend the services are advised to bring a chair.
