The Tumby Bay District Community Bank will be hosting community seminars on Fraud Awareness.
$107,025,3001 was lost to scammers last year in Australia and banks are encouraging people to become more aware of likely fraudsters.
The seminars will feature guest speakers from the Lincoln Computer Centre and SA police.
Talk topics will cover the vast range of different scammers to watch out for including credit card fraud, identity theft, Microsoft computer issues, jobs and employment scams, threats and extortion and unexpected prize and lottery scams.
The free seminars will be held in Cleve on Thursday 21st February at the Bowls Club at 6.30 pm and in Tumby Bay on Thursday 28th February at the Senior Citizen Hall at 6.30pm
