Potential Positive Outcome for Gold Mine on EP

Johnston 607

A significant report is in the works on the development of a new 'open-pit gold mine' here on the Eyre Peninsula near Kimba.

The report is expected to have a positive outcome, moving the project into the next vital step of a pre-feasibility study.

Alliance Resources’ Managing Director, Mr Steve Johnston, said “A positive scoping study will enable Alliance to make a fast transition to the next step so that we can continue to progress this 100%- owned project towards maiden gold production,”

The project has generated average grade drilling results (1.5 grams per tonne gold) for gold and there is a substantial exploration upside to increase the size of the Mineral Resource and potential for further gold discoveries in the region.

The Company already owns an 80 person camp on leasehold land in Kimba which will house the Weenanna mine workforce.
