Over 9 days between Monday the 15th April to Wednesday the 24th April police have detected ten people drug driving in Port Lincoln, resulting in almost one every day.
Seven of the ten people that were caught drug driving had methamphetamine in their system, while four were detected with cannabis.
Easter Saturday and Sunday appeared to be the only days no drug drivers were detected.
Results revealed all drug driver detected were 29 years of age and above with two over the age of 50.
Police will be sending the samples to Forensic Science SA for analysis and pending the results, the drivers involved may face drug driving charges and be summonsed to appear in Court at a later date.
