In 2016 Cummins Area School was awarded $3.5 million in funding that saw several learning upgrades to the school.
Funding was awarded to 139 public schools to develop science, technology, engineering and math facilities.
The funding enabled the Cummins Areas School to make necessary upgrades including new secondary chemistry, physics and biology labs, new primary science lab, open space teaching hubs for all year levels, group tutorial rooms, upgraded teaching areas, and upgrades on electrical, data and air conditioning.
The building has finally been completed and to celebrate the school will be hosting an official opening for the redeveloped learning areas.
Member for Flinders Peter Treloar will conduct the opening, set to take place on May 21st.
