Tumby Bay’s Modular Skate park project has now been completed with the park open for the public to enjoy.
The project was mostly funded by a Variety SA grant who have had ongoing support from the Tumby Bay Township over the year and saw an approved application that has brought the community a new addition.
Other funding support also came from the Tumby Bay Progress Association and Tumby Bay District Council who help bring the vision to life.
The Skate Park has been designed to accommodate all ages with BMX ramps, jumps, pipes and spine that can be taken apart or moved if need be.
Tumby Bay Mayor Sam Telfer says it’s been good to see proactive communities involved with council to help deliver the initiative for the community.
An official opening will be held in the coming weeks with an official date to be confirmed.
