A man was arrested after being caught in a stolen vehicle in Port Lincoln.
A Holden sedan was stolen from King Street, Port Lincoln on Wednesday evening.
It was spotted by police shortly after being stolen. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to pull over and the vehicle was pursued.
The vehicle returned to King Street where it was abandoned on the dead end street. The driver fled on foot but was quickly caught by police on Liverpool Street and arrested.
The driver, a 27-year-old Port Lincoln man, was arrested and charged with illegal use and driving whilst never holding a license.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court today.
