Dementia Faced with Discrimination

Eyre Peninsula residents are being challenged to think differently about dementia with advocates highlighting the discrimination faced by many people living with the condition.

Nearly 450,000 Australians are living with dementia with the nation's peak body launching a survey to better understand the extent of discrimination and what can be done to address it.

Dementia Australia CEO, Maree McCabe, says they especially want to hear from people in regional and rural areas.
