Over the weekend a P plater driver has lost his licence after he was caught drink driving in Ceduna.
On Saturday evening, police stopped a white Holden sedan for a random breath test.
The driver recorded a positive breath analysis of 0.140.
The 29-year-old man from Ceduna was reported for drink driving and driving without displaying ‘P’ plates.
He was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear court at a later date.
Eyre and Western Police are continuing Operation High Impact Fatal Five, targeting people committing offences against the Fatal Five which include drink or drug driving, speeding, distraction offences, seatbelts and dangerous road users, the operation aims of stopping people being killed on our road through poor choices.
