The City of Port Lincoln is asking the community to come forward and share what they want the future vision for Port Lincoln to be.

Council will be holding various forums at the Port Lincoln Hotel Ballroom on Tuesday 24 September and want to encourage as many locals as possible to attend one of the sessions.

The forums will give the local community the opportunity to help shape the future of Port Lincoln and drive the City Strategic Plan.

Four forums will be held across the day with the first forum for the Business Community at 7:30 am until 9:30 am, Breakfast included.

The second forum to be held at 10:30am-12:30 pm for service providers, Morning tea provided.

And the last sessions will be for all community members with one to be held at 2pm-4pm and 6 pm to 7:30 pm, light refreshments provided.

Mayor Brad Flaherty said, “I encourage all members of the community to attend one of these forums and have a say on their vision for Port Lincoln. We would like to see people being actively involved, as this is your community, your future. What future do you want?”

One of the ongoing community projects locals have voiced they would like to see, includes Port Lincoln silo art. Locals will have the opportunity to have their say on this topic during the forums if they wish too.
