Locals are invited to join the Port Lincoln Life Saving Club for another information and social event to be held later this month.

The Port Lincoln Lifesaving club is a start-up committee with a total of 14 people bringing the organisation together.

The meeting to be held on October 27th will give locals an opportunity to go along to meet key members of the committee.

Guest speakers from Adelaide will be in attendance to promote the club and present a powerpoint presentation for attendees.

Alex Giumelli founder of the Port Lincoln Lifesaving club says the meeting aims to gain more traction and community engagement in order to promote what they are doing for the community.

“Our mission is to promote beach safety awareness and professional water lifesaving standards, so this information session would promote what we can offer to the community, what services we can offer and just get peoples interest.” said Alex.
