Next month the annual carols on the foreshore will take place in Port Lincoln in conjunction with the twilight markets.
The carols organised by the churches of Port Lincoln and the Port Lincoln Community Bank will see local dancers, bands, kids choirs and singers perform Christmas carols to the local community.
Free Carol booklets will be on offer while food and drinks will also be available for purchase from the variety of stalls on the night.
The night will kick off at 6:30 pm with the carols singing from 7:30 pm on the 6th December.
Locals are advised to bring chairs and rugs on the evening of festive cheer with family and friends. Candles must be battery operated for safety reasons.
Grant Wilson from the Port Lincoln Ministers Association says the twilight markets will be on the same night which worked well last year.
“The event itself is free, we try and keep it that way so that families can come and it doesn’t cost them an arm and a leg so they decide to stay home instead, we deliberately aim at creating something extra that they don’t have to pay extra for.” Said Grant.
