Figures show that NBN Take up in Port Lincoln is lower than in other Spencer Gulf centres like Whyalla and Port Pirie.
Head of NBN Local SA/NT Tim Saul said there were more than 100 providers offering NBN plans and believed the competition had created good value options for everyone from infrequent internet users through to big data consumers.
He went on to say NBN Co wanted to hear from anyone in Port Lincoln who opted not to switch to the network and hear their reasons.
“That feedback will be useful for us, but we also think that some people who did not switch may not realise what having NBN can do for their home and business, so we would love to chat to them.”
NBN will have a marquee and stall set up adjacent Tasman Terrace, opposite the Grand Tasman Hotel, throughout Tunarama and will have its Muster Truck available to provide demonstrations to those interested.
