A 17-year-old boy has been arrested following an altercation that involved a knife at a Port Lincoln address last night.
At around 7pm police and paramedics were called to Queen Street where the victim was found with a minor cut to his neck and leg.
Police reports say the victim and another teenager known to him, had an altercation in the front yard of a nearby house. During that altercation, the suspect produced a knife and cut the victim's neck and leg.
The victim was taken to hospital with police investigations charging the suspect with assault causing harm and was bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court in April.
