Eyre Peninsula residents will be able to search our nation's cultural and historical wonders more easily, following an upgrade to the National Library's online research portal.
The platform known as Trove currently holds around 6.5 billion records from Australia's recent and distant past and welcomes nearly 70,000 users each day.
It includes records from state and local libraries, universities, as well as historical societies from around the country.
Director-General of the National Library, Doctor Marie-Louise Ayres, says the new-look portal will make it easier to explore our nation's history, news and cultural archives.
