Aurora V Ferry Voyage Home from Columbia

It’s been confirmed by the Spencer Gulf Searoad, the car and passenger ferry ‘Aurora V’  is on its return home to Wallaroo from Columbia after becoming stranded in the COVID-19 crisis for months.

The ferry is used to operate between the Eyre Peninsulas’ Lucky Bay and Wallaroo and has travelled through Panama Canal and will continue its voyage back to Wallaroo.

The vessel is expected be home by the end of September, with weather permitting.

The Lucky Bay Harbour has also seen its completion with the vessels due to be busy with domestic travel on its return also creating a boost for local employment and tourism.
