Regional Australia to Face More Frequent and Intense Weather in Coming Years

drought

A new report is warning regional Australians will face more frequent and intense weather events in coming years, resulting in greater property, personal and economic damage.

It comes as new figures reveal insurers have already paid-out more than $3.85 billion in claims following a devastating summer of bushfires, storms and hail damage.

Mark Leplastrier from IAG says it will only continue without a coordinated effort from business, community and government.
