The Port Lincoln City Council are seeking public consultation on the Draft City of Port Lincoln Strategic Directions Plan 2021-2030.
The plan has been reviewed based on community feedback to align the Vision for the Port Lincoln community with clear Goals, Key Focus areas and Strategic Actions for Council.
It aims to ensure that Council services, works programs and projects meet community needs, expectations and aspirations.
Mayor Brad Flaherty says the plan is not set in concrete and can be amended to ensure the direction is what we want for our community and region.
Flaherty also asked, “Are there any areas that you think we haven’t considered or do you think the Plan’s Key Focus areas will lead us towards making our City a connected community of excellence?”
All members of the community are encouraged to provide their feedback with a public consultation open as of tomorrow Thursday, September 24th until November 3rd.
To have a say on the Draft Plan people can complete the online survey available on the Council’s website at www.portlincoln.sa.gov.au/ourvision.
Locals can make a written submission or make a verbal submission at the Council’s City Strategic Committee Meeting at 6.30pm on Monday 2 November 2020. Anyone wanting to make a verbal submission should contact Council prior to the meeting date.
