Tasman’s Football club won the 2020 Port Lincoln Football League Grand Final at Centenary Oval on Saturday to secure their third A grade premiership in three years.
The day started off strong for the Roosters defeating Lincoln Souths in the under 13s by 5 points.
Marble Range then proved too strong in the under 15s defeating Lincoln South by 20 points.
The under 17s was a tightly contested affair, with Waybacks prevailing over Tasman’s by 4 points.
In the reserves, Lincoln South and Waybacks played out an absolute thriller with the Eagles hanging on by 1 solitary point.
Finally, in the League Grand Final, a tough physical affair seen Tasman’s lead all day but the Demons never laid down and kept coming at the Roosters with the victory not being secured until late in the game.
Final scores Tasman’s 8 goals -10 – 58 defeated Waybacks 4 goals -10 -34.
