A new campaign is being launched to prevent a silent killer known as Dead in Bed Syndrome which can threaten the life of locals who are living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Dead in Bed Syndrome is known as an unexpected death in bed of young diabetic patients without any history of complications.

The DANII Foundation is calling for all Australians with the condition to be given affordable access to a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM).

Currently CGMs are only available free to selected patients, including pregnant women and those under the age of 21.

Co-Founder, Donna Meads-Barlow, who lost her daughter Daniella to the condition, is calling for our support to ensure more people have access to the life-saving device.
