A man has died after his car left the road and collided into a tree on the State's far west coast.
Emergency services responded to reports of a crash on the Eyre Highway near Yalata about 6.30pm on Saturday 19 December.
Sadly, the 21-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man from New South Wales, died at the scene.
The Eyre Highway was closed for several hours while Major Crash investigators examined the scene and investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man’s death is the 93rd life lost on South Australian roads compared to 108 at the same time last year.
