As the official premiere date for the second instalment of A Quiet Place draws near, Paramount Pictures have released two new clips giving us further insight into the thriller.
Silence is not enough
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.
Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
In the new trailer titled 'Fight', we're introduced to a new masked character played by Cillian Murphy who the family enlists to help them.
“I don’t know why you came all the way up here…there is nothing left” Murphy’s character can be seen saying to Blunt who opens the box in which she is ‘safely’ keeping her baby.
In the second short clip released by Paramount Pictures titled 'What you need to know' you are presented with a recap of the previous film while director John Krasinski also goes on to explain that the families “safety net has been upended, they have to move and start somewhere new.”
