She’s got more than a box of scraps and she ain’t in no cave.
You won’t have to wait too long to get your next MCU fix after the release of Thunderbolts* The New Avengers earlier this month. The next project releasing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming straight to Disney+ with its next TV series Ironheart, which drops next month 24th of June.
The new show will feature Riri Williams, a character introduced in Black Panther 2, a character tech genius studying at MIT (alongside Dean Pelton from Community). Riri Williams in the show, whilst never explicitly stating it, is acting as a semi-Iron Man successor in that she will be creating and donning her own suit of armour akin to War Machine and Iron Man alike.
From Executive Producer Ryan Coogler, Ironheart will star; Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, and Alden Ehrenreich. You can catch the trailer below!
