The Port Lincoln Rotary Club, The City of Port Lincoln and  5CC are currently seeking nominations for this year’s Lower Eyre Peninsula Sports Person of the Year Awards.
A Senior (17 years and over as at 1 October 2016)  and a Junior (Under 17 years as at 1 October 2017) winner will be selected from those Athletes nominated for Sporting Achievements between October 1st 2016 and October 1st 2017.

A new award is being introduced this year, The Sporting Volunteer Award for volunteers who have given their time and commitment to a sporting club, team or Organisation.  People are encouraged to nominate any of the large number of volunteers who, week after week, volunteer to help with coaching, umpiring, scoring, ground preparation.

Athletes across the Lower EP from all districts south of Mount Hope, Cummins and Tumby Bay are eligible to be nominated.
Nomination forms for the awards  via the link belew a pick up a hard copy  from the 5CC studios at 4 Washington Street Port Lincoln.
