The Bureau of Meteorology is facing backlash after dozens of South Australian towns disappeared from its new online weather map.

Towns missing from the radar map include Lock, Mount Cooper and Port Kenny on the Eyre Peninsula and Fowlers Bay and Haslam on the West Coast.

It’s prompted concern from locals who rely on the radar for forecasts and marine updates.
