Eyre Peninsula-grown grain is in high demand as shown through Viterra’s shipping milestones.
The company has loaded over two million tonnes of grain onto vessels from its Western region, Port Lincoln and Thevenard, bound for international markets for the 2022 to ’23 season.
Viterra Chief Operations Officer, James Murray, says exporters have already booked almost 1.2 million tonnes of extra capacity for the upcoming season.
